Spring Colour Schemes for a Seasonal Wedding

This makes it perfect for a spring colour scheme. For a soft, romantic wedding, opt to pair green with white. Combine foliage with gentle white fabrics and touches of wood detailing for an organic, fresh and overall gorgeous wedding. 

Consider having green bridesmaid dresses, complemented with large foliage bouquets with a few white stems. These will pair beautifully with cute boutonnieres of greenery and white blooms. Create an ethereal ceremony space with white flowing curtains, decorated with foliage and candle lanterns. Tie this into your reception with white table clothes or chairs decorated with white fabric. This scheme is all about creating a soft, natural setting, full of all the whimsy your day deserves. 

Blue Peach – 

Think feminine and floaty, soft blue and muted peach couldn’t be prettier for a spring colour scheme. This palette is delicate, with the soft blue reminiscent of a clear sky and the peach adding contrasting warmth. Yellow is a colour evocative of springtime, especially a soft pale yellow. For a unique, elegant spring colour scheme, pair pale yellow with lavender. Whilst this palette is a little more vibrant than others, it is very romantic and perfect for springtime. If bold isn’t for you, then opt for soft watercolour washes of purple combined with lemon yellow. These colours are evocative of a spring garden in full bloom!

You can pair this pale colour with lots of other great colours, however, it works particularly well with a beautiful dove grey. This will create a timeless, elegant spring colour scheme. Keep your decor simple and let the colours shine through – consider wooden tables with dove or slate-coloured napkins. This would be well complemented by pale blush pink macarons as wedding favours on each plate. 

This scheme is also a good choice for a less traditional wedding dress. Why not choose a soft pale grey or blush dress and contrast your bridesmaid in the other colour. Think lace gowns or tulle layers, embroidery detailing and feminine silhouettes. Tie this into your floral arrangements, centrepieces or even stationary by colour matching it to trailing pink and grey ribbons.
